Stop The Sale Of Personal Information Without Express Permission

Created by J.F. on February 03, 2014

Right now, websites have the ability to legally collect and sell personal information regarding your home address, phone numbers, email addresses and the social networks you are linked to without your direct and open consent. All this information is available to anyone with a credit card and internet access. This can put you and your family in danger. What's more, many of these websites require a service fee to remove your information from their website.

No one should have the right to collect and sell anyone's personal information without their express permission. Moreover, information brokers should not be charging people to remove their personal information when direct consent was never given to plaster their information on the web in the first place.
