Scrappers are stripping away our nation’s infrastructure and selling our raw materials to China. Some of our falling cities like Detroit continue to demonstrate an extreme state of urban decay. Chinese buyers are scavenging are nations scrapyards, buying our raw materials and shipping them to China. While the Chinese are strengthening their infrastructure, we are weakening ours. Let us stop scrapping and start rebuilding. We should invest in our dilapidated cities. Incentives and grants should be given to companies and businesses that will promote revenue and job creation. Rather than serving time in jail, illegal scrappers can rebuild our run-down factories and schools through construction work. By signing this petition, we are empowering scrappers to stop stripping and start rebuilding.
