This petition is important to bring awareness and to call on Congress to question Schools as well as to create a call to action. Segregating students by gender in schools promotes sexism, poor social skills that are carried through life, and limit their interactions creating fewer real life experiences for children. It is important to realize the impact gender segregation has on developing children to be separated completely while learning.
