Mandate that police departments purchase body cameras for every single police officer in their employ. If needed, issue federal grants for police departments that truly can not afford to do so. Otherwise, I see no reason why departments that can purchase automatic weapons and armored personal carriers can't afford something that would actually HELP keep the people they swore to protect safe.
