The Senate Armed Services Committee is targeting a bill that will directly impact dual-military married couples/cohabitants.
The proposed Senate pay and BAH reform for troops in the next year is below private sector wage estimates for the 4th year in a row. Both spouses in a dual military marriage serve their country and have the equal rights that are given before their marriage. This change will not only affect military families but also the local rent economy with rising costs based on a members rank. Working civilian spouses do not have these limitations, so why would you do that to a dual-service marriage simply because they work for the same boss?
The proposed changes are unjust and unfairly targeting dual-military spouses/cohabitants who equally commit to serving our country.
