Senator Feinstein not only wishes to ban assault weapons, but further restrict the characteristics of what is considered a legal firearm. It's restrictions ban addition firearms, mags and attachments in the process due to their "characteristics". Responsible gun owners understand the concern of guns falling into the wrong hands, but there is no statistical data to back her accusations or warrant the need to impose a stricter ban than the ban that was in place before.
