Stop sending funds to other nations as aid and use the money to make college offset the impending student loan rate jump

Created by M.E. on June 30, 2013

A college education is not only unobtainable to those below the poverty line. Adult students who pay their own way are often priced out of a diploma as well. With universities constantly raising rates and charging endless fee's, often the only way for a person to pay is a government loan. To make matters worse, the typical back and forth between the “do-nothing” House and the Senate mean there is no relief is sight. When I was reading this story on CNN's website, the very next article was about President Obama sending 7 billion dollars to Africa. We are priming another economic crash, instead of mortgages, it will be student loans. While our government sends aid to other nations. I ask the administration to keep the funds domestic and invest in American higher education.
