To stop sending people to jail for owning child support instead give them of choice of jail/ or a training work program

Offer a option job training work program instead of jail for non-payment of child support. To many parents can not find jobs or lack education and job skills, putting them in jail does not help the child instead it creates a cycle of poverty and makes jail a debtor prison. After serving a year in jail and having this on there record it makes them less likely to get be hire and a cycle is formed. mean while the child is no or not much better off and most of the time the tax payer is footing the bill due to over crowded jails, and support the state now offers to pay the other parent. most of them just need jobs or job skills to help support there children, We need to be part of the solution not part of the problem.
