Stop the sentencing of the death penalty without DNA evidence.

Created by M.P. on May 06, 2013

For years capital punishment was issued to innocent victims of false allegations and shoddy police work. Some executed, some exonerated through later DNA evidence by Project Innocence. But even now in the age of DNA and the possibility of almost certain convictions, people are still being charged with capital crimes without DNA or a confession. The chance for human error is to high to risk someone's life on. I believe without an outright confession and/or DNA evidence then capital punishment should not enforced. Remember, innocent until proven guilty. And guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
