President Barack Obama made talked about women in today’s economy in his 2014 State of the Union Address. "You know, today, women make up about half our workforce, but they still make 77 cents for every dollar a man earns," Obama said. "That is wrong, and in 2014, it's an embarrassment. Stop sexual discrimination in salary earnings for women by making it illegal for all businesses and organizations to pay women less than men for the same job and education level. Women deserve equal pay for equal work.
