The Port Authority of New York has authorized marksmen to shoot down Snowy Owls at JFK airport in New York. This airport borders on a wildlife refuge that is a popular landing zone for migratory birds.
It is an absolute travesty that the Port Authority would thus allow the killing of these migratory birds in their designated SAFE SPACE.
Furthermore, these birds are protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918.
Please stop the Port Authority from enforcing this doctrine of insanity.
