Each year thousands of dolphins are inhumanely slaughtered in Taiji, Japan. After they are killed, they are sold for meat. Often, the meat winds up mixed into incorrectly labeled fish packaging. This dolphin meat is very high in mercury levels. People are poisoned by this. Something must be done to stop te slaying of innocent creatures, and to stop the poisoning of consumers.
