Dept. of Labor predicts an average of 82,000 STEM (science, tech, engineering and math) jobs each year. Dept. of Education states that more than 230,000 students graduate in the STEM disciplines.
The H1B visa programs allow more than 120,000 foreign workers into the US for an average stay of 6 years. That's currently over 720,000 Americans out of a job. H1B allows for a technological drain by allowing foreigners to work in the top US companies and take this acquired knowledge back to their 3rd world country.
