Stop Special Tax-Exempt Consideration for Churches

Created by A.A. on May 13, 2013

Most non-profits are required to provide detailed accounting of a group's revenue and expenses to maintain that status, however churches are exempt from this procedure. It is estimated that $71 billion is lost each year in US tax revenue due to churches non-exempt status. In the current economic climate we cannot afford to allow that much money to not be invested back into this country.
