Stop spending more on the military than good educations. Our children are the future.

A majority of our nation's debt can attributed to the ever-climbing military spending. Instead of constantly cutting and cutting education budgets, and increasing military spending, we need to prioritize the children. Trillions of dollars went into the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. More and more has been cut from the education systems of this nation. It has come to the point that many schools have begun to cut extracurriculars and sports teams. Others simply do not have the resources to continue or even start extracurricular activities. Instead of pouring thousands into failing schools and CUTTING FUNDING from the best schools, funding must become equal.
