Every day, millions of Americans struggle to pay bills and support their families. Low wages, loss of jobs, our new poorly-designed healthcare system, and tax hikes (such as the recently proposed increase in gas taxes) are all contributing to this issue.
Wouldn't the wise solution be to stop robbing our poor, and instead, taxing our rich? Wouldn't the wiser solution be to simply stop spending our hard-earned tax dollars so foolishly?
Rather than funding aid in other countries, shouldn't we aid our own country first? We need to be our own first priority, which is not the case today. Something needs to be done, and the issue is not we, the people, but you, our government.
Please, fix yourselves before fixing us. Fix our funding issue, or more accurately stated, your spending issue.
