With the growing attitude in this country in regards to being politically correct, we must not forget that this county was founded on fundamental Christian ideas. Even if you do not want to practice Christianity, you can not argue against the ideals described in the faith. Some of these being "Do not harbor hate in your heart", "Forgive others so that you may be forgiven" and "Treat others like you would want to be treated", just to name some basic ones. Lets show the country and the world that we are proud of where we came from and we will not allow other ideals or "faiths" to contradict what we believe to be vitally important in teaching our children. Besides, with the current graduation rates as low as they are in many states, can we really afford to offer more time off from School?
