It was revealed in newspaper articles by the Guardian, "NSA collecting phone records of millions of Verizon customers daily" and "Anger swells after NSA phone records collection revelations" that the Obama Administration continues to violate Americans' rights to privacy by spying on Americans' call records. This is not only a violation of privacy, but has a chilling effect on free speech, free association, and the power of the people and the press to organize and communicate.
