The homeless shelter rules in NYC state that a family has the right to report bad shelter conditions to anyone in private, in writing or orally without fear of reprisal. When reported, the New York Homeless Shelter staff retailiate for doing so against the family by means of discrimination against the mentally ill and harrassment. These staff members steal items from families rooms and then lie when questioned as to the accuracy of such. Homeless must attend the case meeting without a witness. Please help stop this unfear treatment towards the homeless.
