Stop the state of Washington from implementing a per mile Tax and violating the privacy of its citizens

Created by T.B. on December 10, 2014

Washington State is considering switching from a gas tax to a per mile tax. They want to force us to install GPS tracking systems on our vehicles. This has many negative consequences. With Hacking at an all time high, anyone could hack into the system to say, track an ex-girlfriend with a restraining order, for parents to track the children that were taken from them, or for a potential murderer to track the habits of their intended victim. Instituting this tax per mile would violate every Washingtonian's right to privacy as well as be a huge security risk. In this world, no system is unhackable. Please intervene and stop this flawed idea before they put the public at risk.
