Several states incluing North Carolina are wanting to charge an extra tax on owners of hybrid and electric cars. The very reason these vehicles were developed was to aid our climate and rising fuel cost. It is not right to punish people for being concerned about our climate, and wanting to conserve our limited supply of oil.
