Stop States & Common Wealth from giving criminal records on misdemeanor cases that were dismissed or thrown out of court

Created by N.D. on April 25, 2012

The Common Wealth of Virginia and some states are known for criminalizing and sentencing people for mediocre misdemeanor case. Even first time offenders have received criminal records for cases that have been either dismissed or thrown out by a Judge in the criminal court or law.

I am asking that a law is set to protect first time offenders of misdemeanor crimes for people who have not been convicted, had a dismissed case and/or a cased thrown out by a judge in the court of law. I asking that any mugshot photos of these person be thrown away and any criminal record created during the court or hearing process be esponged. This includes any public photos of this individual, in any forms of media to disappear at the responsibility of that reporting media. This is Save Americans Freedom Act.
