Arkansas recently passed in its legislative branch a bill that would prevent cities and counties from enacting non-discrimination laws protecting LGBTs, the governor will allow it to become law. Until we remove discrimination protections for other classes (sex, race, religion, etc) it is a clear violation of the 14th Amendment. Other states (like Texas) have similar bills appearing in 2015.
It encourages legal bullying and hate towards LGBTs.
US Constitution, Equal Protection Clause:
"No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."
