Military Service Members are to pay Income Tax according to their Home of Record, NOT WHERE THEY ARE STATIONED as outlined in the Tax code and IRS. Virginia is doing this without regard to this Law and are going back at least twenty three or more years to collect these erroneous Taxes. Sending the Virginia Taxation Division a copy of your DD214 isn't good enough, they want a copy of your W-2 form and Military Records. This is blatant abuse of power as unless you are audited by the IRS you are only required to maintain these Tax records for Three Years! I am currently seeking a Law firm to file a Class Action suit against the Stae of Virginia aas their harrassment cause me such distress I had a Heart Attack!!!!
