An H-1B Visa allows for non-US Citizens to be granted long term working visas by American companies to work in typical middle class jobs, most notably, computer programming. The immigrants are then paid lower wages and American workers are put out of a job again.
VP Biden continues to misrepresent this scenario, calling H-1b Visa holders "apprentices." This is completely untrue--they are workers for a company and receive pay and benefits just like a regular employee.
With so many middle class jobs disappearing, we cannot afford to let the government side with "big businesses" like Microsoft, to lose more jobs. All immigrants, even the middle class ones, should come through the normal legal channels and not steal jobs through H-1B Visas.
