Females in the workforce (i.e. The military) have standards for hair that can not always be met. I am an African American female and to the military my natural hair is considered faddish just because it is not straight. This make women have to straighten their hair by using harmful chemicals or always putting heat to it. I want to start this petition to let it be known that it is not right to make a woman feel less about herself because she does not look to standards that can not be accomplished by minorities. NATURAL HAIR IS HEALTHY!!
