The United States government gives huge tax exemptions to big oil companies. These companies rake in billions while destroying the environment and helping to contribute to global climate change. These corporations should not be rewarded for destroying the only known habitable planet. Upwards in 4 billion dollars in tax breaks to companies that make billions every year. The United States should focus more of its resources towards preventing climate change and research towards a greener future. Climate change is a generational issue and we need to do something about it now.
