I believe that the Obama Administration and US governemnet should stop all aid in any form to all organizations and individulas opposed to the current Syrian government. The impact of regiem change in Syria on the demographoic makeup of the region would be grave. As the case in Egypt, Tunisia and Libyia have shown that the new governments will be either more dictatorial like in Egypt or Islamic in nature and beliefe, willing to impose religious rule over all segments of the population regardless of ones own beliefe like the Taliban did in Afganistan.
The US should work closely with the current regiem toward democartic change that will insure the establishemnt of a reasonable democracy in the country. There is nothing more threatening to the US and the eorld than Islamic Fundemantalism.
