As of last week, the United States is directly financing the Syrian rebels with millions of dollars to buy weapons with.
These rebels compose the group known as the Free Syrian Army (FSA). The FSA has carried out massive numbers of atrocities to include: suicide bombings, car bombings, kidnappings, torture, execution, throwing people off buildings, beheadings, genocide against Christians and all non Sunni Salafist/Wahhabi Muslims. The FSA is made up mostly of non Syrians; it predominantly consists of jihadists from around the world. The FSA is based on Al Qaeda ideology and routinely flies the black flag of Al Qaeda during combat.
Why do we fund them in Syria but fight them in Afghanistan and Iraq?
