We petition the administration to put the brakes on our involvement in Syria, do not listen to the war hawks like McCain, the situation there is beyond complex and it is not in out national interest to intervene on either side.
The rebels are in many cases our enemy, and the American people do not wish to make the same mistakes we have in the past, arming the Mujaheddin, Bin Laden, etc., only to have them turn those weapons on us.
The rebels are not freedom loving good guys, and the Assad government isn't a blood thirsty demonic institution, the truth lies in the middle, and the humanitarian interest is served by stability and peace,which is not promoted by pouring more fuel on the fire.
