Saudi Arabia has, since March of 2015 been relentlessly bombing this, one of the poorest countries in the world, in support of a Saudi puppet government brought down by Houthi rebels largely supported by the people of Yemen.
Since the bombing began, more than 10,000 people have died and 3 million have been displaced. The U.S. has been a major backer of Saudi Arabia’s campaign, through over $20 billion in military sales in 2015 alone.
While stemming the tide of weapons in recent months, our government still remains deeply complicit in this human rights atrocity, on par with the current crisis in Aleppo, by providing critical refueling services to Saudi coalition bombers.
President Obama, you have the power to save countless more lives. End U.S. support of the Saudi bombing in Yemen!
