People who are guilty of speeding or other minor traffic infractions are not bad people and still need to drive to work and take care of family business, health/medical appointments etc. The state makes a lot of money from traffic citations. People who usually speed are willing to pay the tickets which provide income for the county which the infraction occurs. Suspension/revocation should be limited to people who subsequently speed in excess (20 mph or more) and to people whom are reckless (DWI/DUI, more than 1 accident on their driving record in a five year period). Suspend/revoke subsequent DWI/DUI offenders and people whom subsequently have at-fault accidents, not regular people. Only use point system for DWI/DUI and speeding 20 mph +.Minor traffic infractions are not criminal.
