Stop taking music programs out of schools.

Created by S.M. on April 08, 2013

Every time we turn around another school has cut their music programs. People seem to think that music has no impact on you when it comes to school so there is no point keeping it. There are many things music does. It helps with foreign language, it improves reading, and helps with creative writing. There are proven tests that show that kids involved in music score higher in their reading and writing fields. Music isn't just a class to fill on your schedule. It is an art that touches not only the kids that take it but the family and friends around them. They put music out in the world for everyone to hear. I am not talking about pop and rap. These are classical, and even foreign songs that send messages to others. By taking it away you take away a part of everyone.
