Stop tattoo discrimination in the workplace

Created by J.J. on September 09, 2016

This petition is to put a ban on tattoo discrimination in the workplace, it applies to all employers across the United States. Regardless of what industry you work in, whether it be medical, hospitality, retail, government, security, or anything, this ban would apply. Tattoos are growing bigger every day, and is being accepted by the public on a daily basis. But for whatever reason, many employers deem them as "unprofessional". What employers fail to realize is that many people with tattoos have them for very important and personal reasons. Some have them in memory of a lost loved one, some have them due to something that they went through in life and it's helping them get through. Some have them to represent medical conditions. You shouldn't have to cover your art, or be unemployable.
