Stop the Tax Abuse in Puerto Rico. People should not afford Government Debts and Expenses

Created by L.A. on October 01, 2015

PR has the worst economic crisis of its history. Since January 2013, the Government of García Padilla has made more than 100 amendments and new laws requiring taxpayers to pay more. Most people can't afford them, leaving their pockets with less income or empty. They must have completed tax returns of April 2015, and their excuse is “We (the government) don't have money” and the treasurer said “We have to sacrifice”. But the Government don’t. They only need a mere $2 million to complete the returns. Instead, they have signed 30,343 contracts between July 1 and September 25, 2015, for the amount of over $56 million. On Sept. 25, the Banks Association announce to charge 4% on every transaction: in-bank, ATM or online, thanks to the taxes imposed. The people of PR can't assume their debt!
