Put a 5% Federal sales tax on all Stock and commodities market trades. With well over a QUADRILLION in transactions EVERY year, this tiny 5% would bring in over 50 TRILLION in taxes every year. We could pay off our debt, triple social services and military budgets, and STILL have so much money left over the Government would pay the PEOPLE taxes, just so they needn't store the surplus!
