As of 1 Jan 2014 the Special Duty Pay for Army Career Counselors of $300 per month is being done away with. Please do NOT let this happen! This is paid to us because we qualified "and serve in assignments that have extremely demanding duties requiring extraordinary effort for satisfactory performance or an unusual degree of responsibility." per AR 614-200 Section IV, 3-21 (a)
