Stop the testing of students to pass children to the next grade

I believe the our government has taken it a little to far with the testing of children in u.s. I also do not agree with having to pass a test to continue into the next following grade. Most teacher's that have been spoken to agree with the following judgment of our education system. Another point should be if a child is passing his/her's class than shouldn't they be able to continue to the next grade
