I feel that a parent who takes care of their children the best way they can and raise them until they reach adulthood without having any problems where the state was force to intervene in there life, a parent should have the same right to continue to make a decision for a child under 18. I feel the state has no rights to anybody childs money to put into a trust unless a child has a parent that has been ruled unfit then they should intervene. I see this law as a double stardard, it's saying" as a mother when you have a child your rights to make decisions about your child is your business as long as it is within the law". But when your child comes into case money etc. then we step in and don't care what you have to say. It's a slap in the face to good decent parents to take away their rights
