Far too often the American people are targeted by the president and congress by stating they are going to withhold SS benefits, cut Medicare funds, and withhold military paychecks. All because of not coming to an agreement over debt ceiling. How is it honorable to take away our right just to prove your point? Instead of taking away from the American citizens your supposed to support and protect, why don't you take away from your own salaries and benefits? Let's see how quick congress comes to a decision when their own paychecks are being withheld. The president is threatening congress by saying he will take away from the United States Citizens. How is that right? How is that befitting our leader? We are supposed to gather around a person like that?
