Stop Time Warner Cable from having a monopoly on the cable market.

Created by W.M. on January 24, 2013

In 1992 the Cable Television Consumer Protection and Competition Act was approved but it was a little too late. In some area's cable companies like Comcast and Time Warner Cable have aggressively conquered many regions of the United States.

Consumers should have more than one option for cable service. If Microsoft was deemed a monopoly then Time Warner's monopoly on the market should be treated the same way.

This petition is urging the presidential administration to look into this calamity and take action that will allow other companies to come into the regions that is predominantly either Time Warner Cable or Comcast and also end the monopoly on the cable market.
