In the last year, seizures of ivory have been linked to killing thousands of elephants. These poor helpless animals are on their way to extinction. If something isn't done soon it will be too late. This sickening, gut-wrenching crime is getting out of control. Animal cruelty will not be tolerated. The last criminal caught will only serve a 24 month sentence. Then without a doubt will continue what has been going on. This penalty isn't strong enough to keep people away. Make the sentence worth it, put them away for life for destroying the life's of these animals.
