Stop the town of Concord NH from using $258,000 of tax payer money, to buy a BearCat armored vehicle to suppress voters.

Created by K.L. on August 13, 2013

I live in New Hampshire. We are known for our motto "Live Free or Die". This applies to most aspects of our general life when it comes to living and working here in the Granite State. For a few years now we've become home to the "Free Stater Movement", the "Liberty Alliance", and several other Pro-Small Government groups. Recently, the Chief of Police John Duval has requested the use of $258,000 of tax payer money to buy a BearCat armored vehicle. That, according to him, will help stop "domestic terrorists", referring to peaceful political groups. He has claimed that members of these groups are terrorists and they (the police) need to be able to defend themselves during protests/petitions. All of which are peaceful, and legal. We cannot allow our constitutional rights to be suppressed!
