The Trans Pacific Partnership is proving to be another in a long series of adverse trade deals. Trade deals such as NAFTA, CAFTA, and normalized trade with China are designed as a vehicle for multinational corporations to offshore American Jobs. These trade agreements deny the U.S.A. our national sovereignty subjecting us to International Tribunals over our laws.
Corporate Interests are in the drivers seat on this trade deal. They are invited to be a party to the negotiations for the TPP while U.S. Senators have been excluded.
These trade agreements put domestic companies at a disadvantage while strengthening the race to the bottom trend in wages and benefits of American workers.
This is another example of the 1% trampling on the rights of the 99%.
