I am part of a group (private pilots) that is classified by our government as a "threat" simply by being a pilot. Even if I follow all procedures correctly, I am at risk for the kind of aggressive behavior by law enforcement that is described in the 'The Atlantic' article below.

I was first made aware of this by an editorial in Flying Magazine. Unfortunately, the general public does not hear about this (except for the NSA spying), as pilots are a minority. The CBP now proudly says that they can track 24,000 aircraft all at once. I am now part of a group that is "guilty until proven innocent." I petition our government to STOP profiling and warrant-less searches of pilots.
