Stop the trade of blood diamonds in many African countries. Many people's lives are ruined over blood diamonds.

In many African countries, people have their lives ruined for these blood diamonds. People are disabled, raped, and terrorized in order to force them to work. These diamonds are then used to fund civil wars that in turn take more lives. America has spoken out saying that as the largest consumer of diamonds in the world, we have an obligation to stop the blood diamond trades. They have not done enough. Many civil wars still go on, funded by blood diamonds. We need the government to intercede more and do better checks on the backgrounds of their diamonds. I don't want the government to physically stop it like in Iraq or Afghanistan because those didn't end up being the best options. Instead I want them to manage the internal affairs involving diamonds better.
