The Trans Atlantic Free Trade Agreement and the Trans Pacific Partnership, as with every one of the previous FTAs, will not create jobs in the US, these will further reduce and or eliminate import tariffs on American branded products being imported.
We are facing a $1 trillion trade deficit for 2013, 60%+ of which are the brands of American based corporations. TAFTA and the TPP could easily double that within one year of implementation. For every $200,000 of imports towards the trade deficit one American manufacturing job can be created, 7 - 10 other supporting and peripheral jobs would be created within 6 months to a year.
Right now the US Trade Representative, expatriot corporations and foreign governments are negotiating two new free trade agreements; in secret.
