Stop the Trans Pacific Partnership

Created by K.R. on March 26, 2014

This trade agreement, if enacted, would violate and risk the rights, health and safety of American people and other people involved. While it is our dream to have borderless trade, this agreement has been called NAFTA on steroids.

Here is why:
1) Job outsourcing would outstretch smaller businesses risking an increase in unemployment, poverty and pay cuts

2) Increase in the price of medicine and the risk of containmented meat and sea food being imported would increase risk of death and poor health. Pay cuts would also make health insurance premiums unaffordable.

3) The intellectual property rights would cut cheaper, generic brands of products and also cause SOPA like policies to be enacted on the internet, thusly leading to unreasonable censorship and tred all over freedom of speech.
