The TPP is a threat to the U.S. economy and sovereignty.
The TPP is a pending agreement for a trade pact between the U.S. and several other countries. Negotiation for this trade agreement have been done in secret, between a few elected officials and corporate sponsors. The TPP also referred to as "NAFTA on steroids", would give corporation control over American tax dollars for trade and grant benefits to companies that offshore U.S. Jobs.
The drafts for the TPP also contains copyright and intellectual property right laws that would revitalizes pre-proposed ideals from the failed bill SOPA. The enactment of this partnership would inevitably limit citizens internet freedom and give congress the power to monitor and censor the internet.
