Stop treating marijuana consumers and supporters as second class citizens. Support a televised debate and national vote

Allow the American people, the voting citizens, to decide if marijuana should be taken off the list as a scheduled one narcotic. Then reclassified similar to tobacco and alcohol .America is Suppose to be a democracy where the citizens vote and make policy changes. A system where the goverment tells the people what's good for them sounds more like socialism or communism. I believe the citizens of American who are effected by out dated marijuana laws are ready for change .Please support an honest open debate on this issue .
